Now that Google's IO conference is done for the year I can re-post all of the videos for those of you who missed watching them. I was able to catch the live broadcast of Day 2's coverage, which was served to YouTube viewers in 720P with no lag at all. Very impressive. Day 1 had over 25,000 people watching. Day 1 focused on Chrome and application development and Day 2 focused on Android and Google TV. There were a lot of other topics included, but that's the basic overview. Now on to the videos! I think it's a cool idea to actually sell the game guide digitally, it should bring up the profits for the companies selling them. Currently there are guides for BF: BC2, Left 4 Dead 2, Dragon Age, Just Cause 2, and the new Splinter Cell Conviction. Here's a link to the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 guide. http://store.steampowered.com/app/22815/ |

Motorola now has the official 2.1 update for the Motorola Milestone on the Telus network. This is the downloadable update, we will probably see the OTA (over the air) update come out soon as well. Doing the update manually will save you a lot of data if you're not using WiFi on the phone to update. Link: Motorola Update UPDATE AFTER UPDATING: Well it seems that Motorola has decided to short Telus Milestone users by not even including half of the feature updates. Some of the most pressing issues were resolved, like Bluetooth hands-free calling and MP3 playing skipping, but a lot of the new cool features were not included. - Live Wallpapers - Yes
- Additional Home Screens - Yes
- Bluetooth Hands Free Dialing - Yes
- Facebook App Installed by Default: Yes
- Updated Home Screen Navigation - No
- New App Launcher - No
- Voice Typing For All Text Fields - No
- New Widgets - No
- 3D Photo Gallery - No
- Faster Processing - Unsure
If you want to see a list of what was suppose to be included in the 2.1 update you can check out PC Magazines's article and check out the differences. |

If you have an Android based cell phone you can sign-up for a notice on when the public beta is available. The beta version of Flash 10.1 will allow Android users to play flash videos and animations inside of the web browser, instead of just inside the YouTube app. Link: Android Flash Player Beta |
