Have you ever opened a program just to have the interface open off-screen? I know I have.

Here's a simple trick to get around this. First make sure you’ve alt-tabbed to the window, or clicked on it once to bring it into focus. Then right-click on the taskbar and choose Move

(Window Off-Screen/Behind Taskbar)

(Window Selected And Right Clicked)

Now you should see a Cross come up as your pointer. All you have to do now is press the Arrow keys on your keyboard to move it back onto screen!

***NOTE*** As far as I know this should work on all versions of Windows.

Thanks man, this is a helpful tip if you ever go from dual-display to single-display without restarting as well.

Awsome thanks. This will be very helpfull for me. I often find myself in remote control of a computer that is running dual display. Of course my control program only gives me access to the primary, so anything that opened on the secondary screen i would be asking the user to drag over for me.. which is all well and good till they leave the room.

In Windows 7 you have to do it a little different since right clicking the program in the task manager doesn't produce the same menu as Vista/XP/Etc.

1. Alt-tab to the window you want to move
2. Alt+Space to open the context menu
3. Type M to enable the Move option
4. Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move the window into view!

This will work in Vista and XP as well.
