I saw that yesterday, I wasn't to stoke on buying it, or even interested but I am now that I watched some of steams HD gameplay, just my paypal is not working right because I have the funds, they just want backup payment... kind of lame.

Honestly the game doesn't look that good graphically. I guess it's all in the game play and story. The only way I'd buy it is on sale, since it's quite expensive. I can't afford it right now, but someday in the future I may pick it up, unless someone has a glowing recommendation.

I had a lot of fun with Fallout 3. I'm definitely not an RPG kinda guy. Yet, I did really enjoy it. The story-line is very rich and unique. What was my favourite part about it was that the RPG aspect of the game didn't get in the way of the FPS Heritage.

If you can spare the cash its definitely worth giving it a run. I've got over 30hrs into it right now. I am going to get the Expansion (Operation Anchorage) soon.

I Love the fallout Seires! I've been playing it since 1994, yes 1994. (first game was called wasteland from 1989 i believe) and Loved the first fallout in 97, and second in 98, and waited so long for the dropped and picked up (x4) 3rd Fallout.

I recommend ALL the fallout story games.

I have all the 3rd's DLC's (4 of them now) for pc, just wish they had the DLC's for PS3.

I never played the original or 2nd one, but fallout 3 is really an amazing game.
Graphics are preatty good, not amazing. but the story is rad, the open-ended play and reprocusions that go with it are rad. All text has voice over! which in itself is awsome, granted they use like the same 6 voice actors for the hundreds of characters though.

I payed full price for this game, and its one of the few that deserved it. but now im to low on cash to buy the expansions, which i plan to one day.

It's nice to hear some reviews from people who have actually played it. Most of the talk about it before and after it came out kinda sounded like this to me. "blah blah story, blah blab graphics, blab good." Didn't really say much about the actual game. haha

I've heard from Ken (Timmy!) and a few other people that the older ones were great. For some strange reason I never came across them in my gaming.

Ya Fallout 3 was the first one I actually heard of in the series, I do admit the story does sound pretty well done from just watching a few videos and reviews one video game I will defentally get.

I have enjoyed the fallout series from Fallout 1 onward, and this is the best yet. The story is unique to Bethesda and I cannot recommend this game enough, but only if you have time to sink into it. I am about 130 hours in and not even half way through (but you can beat the game in under 10 if you don't want to do everything). I can post some high res screenshots if you want... but the game is not about graphics.
