LegitReviews.com has posted their findings of how Windows 7 and XP compare on netbooks.

Basically they throw the normal benchmarks at it and see how it does. At least battery life is comparable.

I am going to try to install WIndows 7 on a hdd for my hp mini.

Good news is I tried upgrading my ram to 2gb's and it worked perfectly no problems

I'm going to put Windows 7 on my EeePC 1000H sometime in the future here. I'll be interested to see how well it runs.

Well I installed Windows 7 on my EeePC 1000H and it runs better than XP. lol Just had to install the touch pad drivers and EeePC utility from Asus and everything was good to go!
