I recently purchased the Motorolla T215 hoping to be able to use it with my Motorola Milestone it as my main vehicle Bluetooth device. I wanted to get away from having an ear piece that I would have to put into my ear when someone called when I was driving. Unfortunately I have found that the device doesn't quite seem to work as well as they advertise, which seems to happens a lot with Bluetooth phone accessories.
Overall I liked the unit, but I found that it picked up a lot of background noise when driving on dirt roads and even on pavement. My wife said it sounded like I was around water or in a tunnel sometimes. The overall volume isn't great for loud vehicles (non-diesel), but would be fine for something quiet.
The one big plus to the device is that it has 36 hours of talk time and around a month of stand-by, which is one of the best talk times around for a Bluetooth device.
If your phone supports it, the T215 can do hands free calling, which allows you to push the talk button on the Bluetooth device and say the name of the person you want to call. My phone doesn't support this feature yet, but I can run the program manually on the phone... which is pointless.
The buttons on the devices are nice and large and the lights are visible without being annoying.
I can't really recommend this because it seems to have a lot of background noise, even with it's noise reduction and echo cancelling abilities, but if you're in a quiet vehicle then it might be worth looking at. Features: - Dedicated Mute Button
- Noise Reduction Technology
- Echo Cancellation Technology
- 36 Hours Talk Time
- Powerful 2-Watt Speaker
- Volume & Call Buttons
- Visor Clips
- Battery & Bluetooth Indicators
- MicroUSB Charging Port
- Bluetooth Hands-Free Profile Support
