If you have an Android based cell phone you can sign-up for a notice on when the public beta is available. The beta version of Flash 10.1 will allow Android users to play flash videos and animations inside of the web browser, instead of just inside the YouTube app. Link: Android Flash Player Beta |

If you use Ventrilo, Teamspeak, Skype or other communication software in Windows 7 you might have noticed that the sound volume of other programs may drop when they are both in use. This is caused by a new feature in Windows 7 that is suppose to drop the background sounds of your computer down so that you can hear your call better. The problem is that with gaming you want to hear both the game and communication program at the same volume. I notice this problem most often in Left 4 Dead. To fix this problem follow these steps: - Click on the Windows Orb (Start button)
- Type "Sound" in the search bar
- Click on the Sound item that comes up under Control Panel
- Click on the Communications tab
- Select the option of Do Nothing
Now Windows 7 should not drop background sounds down in favor of voice communications. Please let me know if you find this guide helpful! |
